CAREY BAPTIST COLLEGE

The NBP team recently completed a two-stage play area project at Carey Baptist College. In Stage 1, they shaped and sculpted the landscape, creating a dry creek bed filled with softfall mulch and bordered by rocks.
A rock mound at one end features water play channels that flow through a carved log into the sandpit. A fairy bridge and balance logs, designed to resemble fallen logs in nature, provide crossing points over the creek bed.
Under the shade of a tree, a cubby-building area invites creative play, while scattered interactive elements—such as talking pipes and a rainbow sensory post with a looking glass—offer elements of discovery.
