Description: Nature Based Play was approached by Remote community Yuendumu to design and construct a Nature Playground for the Yuendumu school in Northern Territory. All nature play elements and items for the Nature Space were transported via shipping container to the site.

The NBP team pre-manufactured a lot of the play elements in our factory, and installed and assembled these onsite. The construction team spent 2 weeks onsite completing the project, with the assistance of the local community machinery and workers. Through some heavy rains and remote logistics, they finished the Nature Playground to design, safety and high quality level requirements.

Yuendumu is a stunning natural outback location, and the new Nature Playground blended in beautifully to the natural surroundings and added an amazing new playground amenity to the school and community. The local elders were very supportive and extremely satisfied with the final outcome for their community. The success of the project has led to another project for the Yuendumu Children and Family Centre, catering for young children and families.
