Ocean Road Primary School engaged NBP to transform an underutilised grassed area into an active playspace. The design connects the existing sandpit playground to a waterplay zone, with rock mound and carved timber troughs that resemble a natural creek flow. 

A crushed stone pathway connects to a sensory section featuring log drum and musical posts with embedded rainbow glass that catches the light. Suspended balance logs with thick rope detailing lead to a bespoke fort, with slide and play window beneath.  

The playspace also includes a classic double swing for shared experiences, complemented by an adjacent swivel seat swing.
