ST HILDA’S JUNIOR SCHOOL
The Junior School Nature Play was designed in an existing lawn area, transforming it into a Nature Play space with climbing and water play. The main piece is the large Mother Humpback Climber, a timber framed centre piece with timber and rope climbing challenges for the kids, along with climbing/swinging tail. This nature play element is complemented with a water play area of timber and rock troughs, allowing for running water at any time, plus ground logs and steppers.
A feature wall with blue colouring depicting the ocean, sits behind the piece as a backdrop and screen, whilst highlighting Playground Donor names. Native plantings surrounding the area gives the whole space a lovely natural feel which links in to the existing school bush and landscaped areas.
A wonderful Nature Playground that provides a showcase Nature Playground for the Junior School, for the children and teachers to enjoy.
OUTCOMES: New Humpback climbers
