Description: Russell Brown Adventure Park is a community collaborative project that has achieved a large and wonderful nature based play environment on the banks of the Swan River in Mosman Park. Collaborative partnerships were fundamental in creating a unique and award winning project.
The Park provides for residents, families, schools, educational groups, sporting groups and environmental organisations; an outlet close to home whereby they can observe local flora and fauna and enhance their wellbeing. The park also ensured minimal impact on the natural environment, was designed incorporating existing trees and natural landforms, and used repurposed and recycled materials throughout.
Awards: The Russell Brown Adventure Park won both the WA and Australian Parks and Leisure 2016 Awards of Excellence for the Best Community Nature Play under $500,000.
