NBP partnered with One Tree Community Services to design and construct a nature-inspired playscape at their Bulgarra children’s service in the Pilbara. The new space has been built to engage children from babies through to school-aged learners, with opportunities for exploration and connection to the natural environment.

Children can follow the jump logs and fairy bridge into a rock waterplay sandpit zone, featuring mud kitchens for imaginative play. A sheltered sandpit is surrounded by carved-top logs, while the outdoor classroom provides a flexible space for learning, gathering, and sharing stories.

The playscape also features a multi swing loop beneath trees, offering a variety of vestibular movement. There is a tyre swing and a safety-tethered basket swing for toddlers and older children alike. This nature-based play environment encourages discovery and open-ended play opportunities, supporting One Tree’s vision of inclusive, play-based learning.
