GOOLLELAL PS NATURE PLAY STAGE 3
Returning to Goollelal Primary School for stage 3 of the nature playground masterplan, the children were thrilled to see their new fort, which features a climb-through tunnel, rock mound, and slide. This sensory-rich environment offers plenty of activities, including mini monkey bars, rope and log balance beams, and steppers that present various height challenges.
The diverse textures of rocks and natural timbers form a border and create an informal gathering space. Children can also enjoy quieter areas for contemplative play, collecting treasures in a carved log, or watching light filter through coloured marbles embedded in the fort’s timber.
This final stage blends with earlier stages to create an engaging landscape full of rich new play opportunities.
