ST HILDA’S ELC NATURE PLAYGROUND
NBP worked with St Hilda’s for many months to design and create a wonderful Nature Play Space for their ELC area and Junior School. Both playgrounds were completed over the Christmas school holidays and into first term, leaving St Hildas with 2 amazing Nature Play spaces for their students in 2018.
The ELC Nature Play was designed around an existing play sand and grassed area, allowing for installation of wonderful climbing structures, cubbies, water play and landscaping. Focused around the Calf Humpback Climber, all the Nature Play elements work together to create both a beautiful aesthetic landscape and challenging elements for the kids to interact with.
Using featured and handcrafted timbers with natural rocks and native plantings, to give the whole space a lovely natural feel linking in to the existing school bush and landscaped areas. A great Nature Play Space that has been created collaboratively with the school and provides a showcase Nature Playground for the school’s ELC program, for the children and teachers to enjoy.
